Sacred Heart Statue, FSSP, St. Alphonsus, Baltimore
This project included cleaning, repairing broken plaster index finger, and repainting of an antique plaster statute. The statue was embellished with intricate gold grapevine stenciling, replacing the faded and partially covered, original stenciling. Statue required delicate sanding to remove pink paint, original faded oil paint and many years of accumulated dirt over. The statue was refinished in oil paints to match the original paint. Garden Statue of Our Lady, FSSP, St. Alphonsus, Baltimore
This project included cleaning, paint removal, priming and refinishing a vintage concrete garden statue. Statue was carefully restore, in full color, taking into consideration the elements and need for longevity. The Fleur de Lis stenciling was added for visual interest and since it's a symbol of Our Lady's purity.
